Google has recently been fined a 3 billion dollar antitrustĀ  fine from the European commission as per Telegraph.It has been accused of promoting its shopping services in the Internet searches and at the expense of rival companies

Google has recently faced a 3 billion euro dollar antitrust fine from the European commission in the coming weeks, according to the British news paper the Telegraph.European Union has recently accused Google of promoting its shopping services in the Internet searches and that even in the expense of a rival service.According to people who are associated with this, they said that Google has no plans to try and settle the allegations made by the European commission.

The fine would be announced next month.and it is said that Google would also be banned from continuing to influence search results.If required the commission can also fine Google up to 10 percent of their annual sales which is presumed to be somewhere around 6 billion euros in Googles case.Previously, Intel was also fined a sum of 1.1 billion-euro in 2009.None was available for comment.
